Refined Rustic Cabin with Hot Tub

We really love this house and West Jefferson

We had a nice stay at The Rustic. The house is well decorated and the mattress was very comfortable, making it a cozy place to unwind. The neighborhood itself is adorable, we loved spotting deer and bunnies nearby! A few updates would make the experience even better: the outdoor amenities were a bit lacking, the sheets and a couple rugs could be refreshed (some pet stains were noticeable), and the coffee provided was expired. Also, the bridge leading to the property feels a little sketchy with several “cross at your own risk” signs… something to be aware of on arrival. Overall, a solid stay with great potential to be a perfect five stars!

Everything as described!! Beds slept great, hot tub was wonderful on such a cold evening and especially after two days of shopping in West Jefferson, Boone, and Blowing Rock. The house was perfect for a “Girlfriends Getaway”. We will definitely stay again.The only thing that I wish would have been available, were candles to help alleviate the very strong wood stove smell throughout the home.Also, might be worth mentioning that if you sit outside, a neighbor’s dogs bark very loudly when they hear you pull up, and if you are sit outside.
